KONTEKS.CO.ID – Acara penghargaan bergengsi, Golden Globe Awards 2024 telah selesai diadakan di The Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles.
Dalam acara ini Oppenheimer berhasil memboyong 5 penghargaan dari 8 nominasi. Christopher Nolan meraih prestasi meraih gelar Sutradara Terbaik, sementara Cillian Murphy juga mendapatkan penghargaan sebagai Aktor Film Terbaik atas penampilannya sebagai J. Robert Oppenheimer. Tak mau kalah, Robert Downey Jr. juga meraih gelar Aktor Pendukung Terbaik (Film) untuk perannya sebagai Lewis Strauss.
Tak hanya Oppenheimer, film Barbie juga berhasil membawa pulang dua penghargaan bergengsi. Kategori Cinematic and Box Office Achievement. Selain itu lagu ‘What Was I Made For’ karya Billie Eilish yang menjadi bagian dari film Barbie juga mendapatkan penghargaan sebagai Best Song Motion Picture .
Sementara itu, film asal Prancis, Anatomy of a Fall, mengukir prestasi luar biasa dengan meraih gelar film non-bahasa Inggris terbaik di Golden Globe Awards. Tidak hanya itu, film ini juga berhasil membawa pulang trofi untuk kategori skenario terbaik.
Serial Succession juga berhasil mengumpulkan empat piala Golden Globe Awards. Selain itu, serial The Bear yang membawa pulang tiga piala.
